I was doing a search about baby thingy today and found out about yeast infections. As far as i know only women are susceptible to a yeast infection but my research today made me surprised. I never thought baby can have it too. Below are some babies yest infection facts:
All humans have harmless amounts of yeast (actually a fungus) in their bodies. It tends to live in the mouth, bowels, skin, and, in women, the vagina — basically it thrives in warm, wet environments. A diaper rash left untreated can easily become infected with yeast — even if your child is a boy. Babies taking antibiotics or breastfed babies whose mothers are on antibiotics are more susceptible to yeast infections. That's because antibiotics kill the good bacteria in the body that keep yeast in check. Without these bacteria around, yeast can grow more abundantly.
Some possible remedies to help babies yeast infection.
*try to keep the are dry as possible
*you may used cornstarch to absorb moisture
*also make a paste out of VRP Culturelle and apply it to the infected areas
*coconut oil also works well on the skin which is completely safe. It does explodes the nuclues of the yeast cell from the inside out.
Getting our baby clean every now and then is essential. So, mommies like me should have to be more attentive before possible causes occur which can effect with our babies health.
