Marketing Strategies to Trick People

Countless of people have been tricked by marketing scheme. Needless to say, i was being tricked as well as my husband too many times. It sure does aggravates us but the marketer doesn't care at all. It's their strategy for their business and companies sake.

My story:

  • My husband purchased some kind of game through his cellphone to play with kids. It was purchased 5 months ago and it does pisses him because every month he is paying with extra charge for 5bucks. He never thought he is going to pay for every month because before when he downloaded the game he was too sure it won't costs him another bucks afterwards. It happens that he is now paying the monthly fee for unnecessary game stored in his phone. I always told him every time he gets whiny with marketing gimmicks that he needs to take the game off to the phone and that the charged would be over but still he won't listen to me because 5 dollars isn't that much for a month. I just don't understand him sometimes though.

Anyhow, it catches my attention of what REGONLINE website currently written. It was all about top 7 ways to trick people spending money on things they don’t need particularly in going to an event, such as sporting event, a seminar, a fund raiser or a class. This is marketing strategy is called Event Marketing. As what i learned from the website, marketers promote product and events using their scientific approach and psychological techniques to people who might shower their hard-earned money for things and event that they don't need to attend or to have. I must say, they targeted peoples emotions. To learned more about these top ways click here

Products or services isn't as always right as they affirm and what we expect. As a consumer, we should have to take extra cautious on buying certain items we ought to have. After all, our hard-earned money is involved and still precious.
